Pumlumon Trails
A selection of routes up Ceredigion's tallest mountain, Pumlumon.
Pumlumon, meaning "five tops," or "five peaks", is nestled in the Cambrian mountains. It offers open landscapes, true wilderness, and hidden histories.
Standing at a height of 752m (2,467ft) above sea level, Pumlumon Fawr offers stunning panoramic views of the Preseli Mountains, Cardigan Bay, Cadair Idris, Snowdonia, and Pen y Fan.
With a wealth of history waiting to be explored, you can find some of the most popular walking routes below.
Please note: Pumlumon is known for its rugged, uninhabited wild landscapes, and the weather can change quickly. Always carry navigational aids with you and wear appropriate clothing and footwear. Carry food and water, and be prepared to turn back if visibility becomes poor or conditions become dangerous.
